A small pair of charming early Staffordshire King Charles Spaniel mantle dogs decorated with a chain, lock and collar and a creamy textured coat with an unusual curled tail.

The quintessential decoration for any well-appointed 19th century home has become the classic arbiter of modern country house style.

 

No home can do without at least one pair, I have three!

 

These dogs are in excellent antique condition, hand-picked by me to a standard I would gladly display in my own home. Given their age, any small nicks, crazing or minor paint or gilding wear are not considered defects, just evidence of a life well lived.
